The Deal documents the machinations of the Nigerian so-called brotherhoods that are widespread in Europe. Through exclusive access to intercepted conversations and testimonies of key witnesses, the film uncovers the network specializing in human trafficking, forced prostitution and drug smuggling. At the center: a committed Italian prosecutor, a Duisburg investigator, a former trafficked woman and a social worker whose NGO enables women in Nigeria to make a living for themselves.
